Another fantastic and adventure-filled animated feature film is coming to the Philippine theaters next month. The English-dubbed family adventure movie “Foosball: The Unbeatables” as it opens this October 1 in cinemas nationwide, months ahead of its U.S. release.

Everything about “Foosball: The Unbeatables” flowed in perfect harmony. The major charm of the film is its unpredictable flow of events and witty characters. There have been several twists that would be so hilarious and some are heartwarming.  The animation is visually impressive. The details given to every characters particularly to the foosball players that magically come to life is highly commendable. The vibrant colors of the background that interacts with the stylized animated figures of the characters were just a masterpiece on its own. The impressive football action stunts and hysterically funny antics of the cast kept the attention of the audience the whole time. The voice actors did a great job capturing the essence of the whole film. it is as if it was not a dubbed film to begin with. “Foosball: The Unbeatables” is a family-oriented film that would surely be enjoyed by both the kids and young at heart.

“Foosball: The Unbeatables” is Juan José Campanella’s first cinematographic project since he was awarded the Oscar® for “The Secret in Their Eyes” while Sergio Pablos, creator of the original idea for “Despicable Me”  and supervised “Rio” is the Animation Head of the movie.

The upcoming family-oriented action adventure “Foosball: The Unbeatables” is about the journey of Amadeo (voiced by Rupert Grint) who lives in a small and anonymous village.  He works at a bar, plays foosball better than anyone and is in love with Laura, though she does not know it.  His simple routing comes crumbling down when Ace, a young man from the village that became the world’s best football player, comes back willing to have his revenge for the only defeat he ever suffered against Amadeo when they were younger.  With his foosball table, his bar and even soul destroyed, Amadeo discovers something magical, the players of his beloved foosball table can talk...and suddenly comes to life.   Together, they will embark on a journey full of adventures to save Laura and the village and becoming a true team along the way.
